42% of the 282 autopsied drivers had alcohol in their blood. Of these, 68 had a rate equal to or greater than 1.2 g/l — the crime threshold.
Of the 117 drivers with lcool, 68 had a rate equal to or greater than 1.2 g/l, which was considered a crime, and 85 (about 30%) had 0.5 g/l, a value from which it was considered to counterorder the serious.
About one in four drivers killed last year in road accidents and autopsies had a blood alcohol rate considered a crime, according to data from the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR).
