The Spanish passenger who may have contracted the hantavirus during a KLM flight to Amsterdam has received a negative test result. This was reported by Spanish Minister of Health Mónica García on X. The woman from Alicante was seated two rows behind the 69-year-old Dutch woman who disembarked shortly before departure from Johannesburg and eventually died of the hantavirus in a hospital in South Africa.
