The new construction of the M6 motorway operation could mean significant savings, according to Dávid Vitézy, who reported that the operation of the section between Dunaújváros and Érdi-tető for the next 11 years could cost 44 billion forints instead of the previously determined price of 149 billion forints.
After months of agony, the issue of operating the M6 motorway finally seems to be resolved. The government decision was published in the Hungarian Official Gazette on Friday night, meaning that it is not MKIF, but the previous concession company, that will continue operating the M6 motorway for the next 35 years.
