[Yomitan] A joint music club formed by students from Tokeshi Elementary School and Furugen Elementary School in Yomitan Village won the gold prize at the prefectural choral competition held in July. The club was formed in May by Mr. Koji Kinjo, the advisor who was assigned to Tokeshi Elementary School in April, after he called upon students from his previous school, Furugen Elementary School.
