Approximately 30,000 loggerhead sea turtle hatchlings, having completed their incubation period on Iztuzu Beach in Ortaca district of Muğla, have reached the sea. Bumin Kağan Arslan, Field Coordinator of the Sea Turtle Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (DEKAMER), stated that field work intensifies during the summer season, while the center continues to treat and rehabilitate injured sea turtles throughout the year.
