Shiv Sena Supreme Court: During the hearing in the Supreme Court regarding the Shiv Sena name and bow-arrow election symbol, Shinde faction's lawyer Neeraj Kishan Kaul gave strong arguments justifying the decision of the Election Commission.
In the hearing on the Shiv Sena party symbol, the Shinde group's lawyers refuted the Thackeray group's argument. They told the Supreme Court that the Shinde group got the party due to three main reasons: the party's constitution, organizational structure and majority in the legislature. They also emphasized the powers of the Election Commission. This is considered to have dealt a big blow to the Thackeray group.
