Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray has threatened legal action if the "character assassination" campaign targeting his family over the 2020 Disha Salian death case does not cease. His son, Aaditya Thackeray, also denied any connection to Salian, whose death is now under CBI investigation following a Bombay High Court order.

Uddhav Thackeray has expressed his anger over the Disha Salian case. He denied all the allegations after his name was mentioned in the case, which is under CBI investigation. Thackeray said that he had never had any connection with Disha and this character assassination should stop or else legal action will be taken. He also alleged that the case was politically motivated.
