22-year-old killed in Jefferson County house fire - Daily Leader

A man was killed in a house fire in Jefferson County Monday, Jan. 26. Five other people escaped uninjured. Deputies responded to the home on Old Hwy. 20 Road in Union Church around 5 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff James E. Bailey said. Jacob Bohannon, 22, of Vicksburg, died as a result of the fire, said Bailey. The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
