Turtle Lake · Turtle LakeOn Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at 1:20 a.m. a Polk County deputy and K9 on patrol south of the Village of Dresser travelling on Hwy. 35 were stuck along the driver’s side of the squad by a UTV. The UTV fled after striking the deputy.

Turtle Lake · Turtle LakeThe TC Titans entered the WIAA Division 3 Baseball Tournament as a 10-seed and had to go on the road Thursday, May 29 to meet the 7-seeded Ladysmith Lumberjacks. In a back-and-forth contest, the Titans, trailing 5-4, scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh and then held off the Lumberjacks in the bottom of the inning to advance with a 6-5 round one win.
