Barack Obama · New YorkNEW YORK (PIX11) – The polls have opened in New York and New Jersey on Tuesday as voters choose the new mayor of New York City and governor of the Garden State. New Yorkers are turning out to make their choice for 111th mayor heard – after nine days of early voting, more than 735,000 people cast their ballot, according to the Board of Elections. That’s more than four times the last mayoral race in 2021.
