Burglar shot dead by business owner

MEERZORG — A man was shot dead on Wednesday (today) around five in the morning during a break-in at a building on the Oost-Westverbinding. The Suriname Police Force reports on its website that the victim, whose personal details are still unknown, was caught by the owner, who fired shots in the direction of the burglar, who was hit and died.
