Athens, Ohio · AthensATHENS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Athens police responded to a shooting near Ohio University Thursday afternoon, with one woman being injured and the suspect dead by his own hand. According to Athens Chief of Police Nick Magruder, officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound at an apartment building on the unit block of West Union Street.
