- In a three-way race on Tuesday, Zohran Mamdani, mayor-elect of New York City, secured 50.4 percent of the vote versus Andrew Cuomo's 41.6 percent and Curtis Sliwa's just over 7 percent, becoming the first Muslim, first South Asian, and youngest mayor in more than a century.
