Zelenskyy says Ukrainian officials to meet Trump envoys in Geneva for more Russia talks

Yesterday, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said U.S. and Ukrainian officials will hold another round of talks in Geneva, Switzerland on Feb. 26 to continue negotiations and explore a peace agreement.
After the Feb. 17–18 talks stalled, Kyrylo Budanov said a new round could be held in Geneva on Feb. 26–27, focusing on territorial and ceasefire disputes.
Witkoff phoned Rustem Umerov to seek permission from President Volodymyr Zelensky for the Geneva meeting, and they communicate via near-daily calls.
Following Geneva, Umerov may travel to the U.S. for talks, and Witkoff said `a trilateral leaders' meeting should be discussed`, but all must agree, he added.
Witkoff said he and Jared Kushner will travel to Geneva on Feb. 26 to hold talks with Iran, adding, `We are in the process of preparing`, according to Interfax Ukraine.
