President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported honoring a number of prominent figures with the "National Legend of Ukraine" state award, including American actor Sean Penn, restaurateur and humanitarian activist José Andrés, footballer Ihor Belanov, journalist Alla Mazur, and musician Yevhen Stankovych.
Zelensky awarded 20 outstanding people with the state award “National Legend of Ukraine”. In Kyiv, Zelensky awarded 20 outstanding Ukrainians and foreigners. Among the winners are Lazarenko, Mazur, Belanov, Lukyanenko and Shawn Penn.
Among the awardees are also musicians, artists and military personnel.
