Kyiv - Since the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, Kyiv has managed to return 5,857 people from Russian captivity and free another 555 people outside of the agreed prisoner exchanges, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today after a meeting with members of the team responsible for the release and assistance to prisoners of war. The meeting was also attended by freed Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.
