KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that he asked U.S. President Donald Trump to press China’s leader to use Beijing’s influence over Moscow in a diplomatic effort to get Russia to end its 4 1/2-year-long invasion of Ukraine.
On the UN rostrum, Volodymyr Zelensky warned the world on Wednesday 23 September: the Russian threat "will not stop at the borders of Ukraine." A few hours later, Moscow struck Ukraine with its drones and missiles, killing at least eight more. China could then be the only one to have a major influence on Vladimir Putin.
