Zelenskyy says some 20 countries interested in drone deals with Ukraine
Zelenskyy said four agreements are already signed as Ukraine uses drone diplomacy to seek energy deals and new markets for farm exports.
On Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced nearly 20 countries are negotiating drone deals with Ukraine, with four agreements already signed and first contracts under preparation.
Since the Iran war began in February, Zelenskiy leveraged Ukraine's drone warfare expertise into successful diplomatic partnerships, securing deals with Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
Ukraine has started receiving necessary fuel volumes through these agreements while drone diplomacy aims to secure energy-supply deals and expand markets for agricultural produce.
Preparations for initial contracts under the four signed agreements mark a significant step in Ukraine's effort to export drone systems, strengthening the country's industrial base.
Ukraine intends to launch security cooperation within drone deals in another part of the world, indicating potential for future partnerships beyond the four agreements already established.
