A 51-year-old Slovak man has been taken into police custody on suspicion of beating a 46-year-old woman to death in Pakoštane on Tuesday evening, the Zadar police reported on Friday. The Zadar police announced that on Wednesday at around 11 p.m. they received a report that emergency medical personnel were sent to intervene in the Pakoštane area, where a woman was staying in a rented apartment and needed medical attention.
