There are streets in Vilnius and Pasvalys districts named after Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. The director of the Population Genocide and Resistance Center has already decided that such a name promotes a totalitarian regime and therefore must be changed. In Pasvalys district, the decision is intended to be implemented by the summer. However, in Vilnius district, according to the municipal administration, the issue is at an impasse.
