Cybercriminals attack successful Youtubers with false copyright claims to force them to broadcast cryptojacking software presented in the form of tools to circumvent Internet access restrictions to their fans. Researchers from Kaspersky's Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) have discovered a sophisticated malicious campaign in which threat actors blackmail YouTube content creators to distribute malware.
