- Revenue from Super Chat grew 45 per cent in the past year, with fan funding becoming a critical revenue driver as creators increasingly diversify earnings beyond traditional advertising.
- Additionally, YouTube expanded virtual gifting to Canada, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand while enabling creators to broadcast simultaneously in vertical and horizontal formats.
- These updates arrive as the global live-streaming market is projected to reach $62.4 billion in 2026, intensifying competition against Twitch, which has seen its market share decline to roughly 54 per cent.
