More than 100 youth came out to Goose Island on Saturday to learn more about the outdoors and fishing. The Goose Island Youth Fishing Classic provided them with the chance to learn about fishing then go out and catch a fish or two. Volunteers from organizations such as KAMO (Kids and Mentors Outdoors) and Coulee Region Trout Unlimited taught casting techniques to the youth, many of whom quickly mastered the skill.
