- Senior faculty members and engineers are counselling the student about the illegality of unauthorised system access, as the institute initially considered lodging an FIR but opted to verify his claims first.
- The institute has a history of encouraging young cybersecurity talent, previously offering a position at its C3iHub to a youth who identified vulnerabilities in the CBSE's online screen-marking portal earlier this year.
