Young people and work: aspirations and frustrations

For all under 25: The youth employment agency is supposed to help young people on their way to working life. The offer has been available for ten years. Andrea Nahles came to Bremen for the ceremony – and praised the work.

If integration is to be successful, working life must become more diverse, says Minister of Labor Tonje Brenna. Then young people must also be heard, say the young people themselves.

The Montaigne Institute has just carried out a major study on young people and work, not only questioned them about their aspirations for work in general, but also sought to assess the gap between these aspirations and the reality of the jobs occupied.
