Yoto Player 4th Generation Launch - Forbes Vetted
The updated players let kids access up to 20 downloaded audio titles without a phone, while storage rises to 64GB and prices increase.
On Thursday, Yoto announced its 4th generation audio players, featuring a new Green Button for offline access. CEO Ben Drury told Mashable, "We've re-engineered the entire product from the ground up."
Part of the retooling includes increased storage of up to 64GB, providing "1,000 hours of audio." This new Green Button allows kids to access content without WiFi or Yoto Cards.
Pricing for the new devices has increased, with the Yoto Player now $150 and the Yoto Mini $110. The Yoto Mini ships September 30, 2026, while the Yoto Player ships October 15, 2026.
Designed for active use, the Yoto Mini is "rugged, water and dust-resistant." The company promises it can "handle playground grass, sofa launches and rainy-day chaos without missing a beat."
Each Yoto is getting softer edges and a friendlier aesthetic. While these design shifts mean the current generation of Adventure Jackets will be outgrown, the company plans an overhaul in the near future.
