Saskatchewan Teenager Faces Terrorism Charges over 764-Connected Activity: RCMP
RCMP say the 18-year-old is accused of activity linked to 764, a listed terrorist entity that coerces youth into violence and exploitation.
- On September 24, the RCMP Federal Policing Northwest Region's Integrated National Security Enforcement Team arrested an 18-year-old Yorkton resident charged with terrorism-related offences tied to the 764 network.
- Listed as a terrorist entity in December 2025, 764 is a transnational online ecosystem that coerces youth into child sexual abuse, self-harm, and torture, according to the RCMP.
- Investigators traced the user across 764-related chatrooms on Discord and Telegram, where the individual allegedly posted videos depicting real-world activity; the Youth Criminal Justice Act protects their identity because they were a minor at the time.
- The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Yorkton Provincial Court on Tuesday for a bail hearing, with police confirming the investigation remains before the courts.
- Elements of 764 are known to have extreme ideological views, "victimizing children through desensitizing and radicalizing them to violence," RCMP said, while authorities urge reporting suspicious activities to the RCMP National Security Information Network.
