Erythmetic Crop in the PR Is Selected Global Agricultural Heritage by the United Nations
The crop of Erva-mata, in particular what was done in the rain forests of Paraná, was internationally recognized on this Thursday (22) by the United Nations (UN), and was included in the list of the Global Agricultural Systems Heritage. According to the United Nations, the title provides “a rare example of agricultural practices that preserve forest coverage and at the same time support livelihoods and cultural heritage”.
