Yemen's internationally recognized government on Thursday called on the international community at the UN General Assembly to provide more assistance in the fight against the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
Yemen appealed to the international community for stronger support against the Al-Houthi militia. The Vice-President of the Yemeni Presidential Command Council, Abdullah Abdelkader Al-Alami Bazir, said to the United Nations General Assembly in New York that 12 years had passed since the "turn carried out by the Al-Houthi terrorist militia."

The internationally recognized government of Yemen calls on the world community to increase support in the fight against the Houthi militia. Yemen is able to end the militia threat and protect its ports and territorial waters, said Abdullah al-Alimi of Yemeni Presidential Council, who leads the internationally recognized government in Yemen, on Thursday (local time) at the UN General Debate in New York.
