Marauders open 2026 season with series split to Yellow Jackets
MINOT, ND – The University of Mary softball team opened the 2026 season with a split in a doubleheader against Black Hills State University. The Marauders won the first matchup 6-4 before falling 11-5 in game two. Arria Johnson led the way in game one, pitching a complete game to earn their first win of the season for UMary.
Yellow Jackets Begin Season in Minot at the 2026 Bubble Invitational
Black Hills State softball begins its season in Minot, N.D. at the 2026 Bubble Invitational. The three-day tournament starts Friday, January 30 and goes to Sunday, February 1. BHSU will play six games over the three days versus UMary, Minot State, and MSU Billings. This will be the second year in a row BHSU starts the season in Minot.
