According to a preliminary estimate, annual inflation reached 2.9 percent in June. It increased by half a percentage point compared to May. It is growing for the second month in a row, the highest since December last year, when it reached three percent. Month-on-month, consumer prices increased by 0.3 percent in June, the Czech Statistical Office said. According to analysts, the increase is due to higher prices for food and services.
