On Saturday, Equatorial Guinea will host the 26th session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of ECCAS. Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema took a lead, disembarking in Malabo as early as Wednesday evening. It was a matter of moving forward on the issue of border dispute between the two countries, after the decision of the International Court of Justice on 19 May 2025, rather favourable to Equatorial Guinea.


The Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) announced in a communiqué that the XXVIth Ordinary Session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government (CCEG) would be held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on 07 June 2025, in conjunction with the Second Session of the Central African Maritime Conference (COMAR).
On 7 June 2025, the Equatorial Guinea capital, Malabo, will host the XXVIth ordinary session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS).
