XPENG Launches G9L Flagship SUV in Europe at 2026 Paris Motor Show

The three-row electric crossover gets Europe-specific features, a 106.7 kWh battery and up to 591 km of WLTP range.

  • The Guangzhou-based Xpeng G9L launched in eight European countries, including France, Germany, and Norway, with production based at the Magna plant in Graz, Austria.
  • Unlike the two-row Chinese version, the G9L offers three rows of seats in six or seven-seat layouts and comes standard with a 106.7 kWh battery suitable for up to 591 km of WLTP range.
  • The G9L features rear-wheel steering that reduces the turning radius to less than 5.5 meters, and its 800V high-voltage system allows for an 80% charge in 12 minutes.
  • Having sold 241,111 units through August, Xpeng faces a 10.5% year-over-year decline, necessitating sales of around 89,750 units monthly to reach its 600,000-vehicle annual target.
  • Ahead of the Paris Motor Show 2026, a pre-production G9L traveled 1,324 km from Austria to Paris, showcasing the model's capabilities as the company expands its European footprint.
