EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) - Xcel Energy is warning people to be cautious around the Dells Hydro Dam in Eau Claire. High river flows from heavy rain have made the 'boat restraining barrier', which sits upstream from the dam, unstable. Xcel has placed signage at the five boat launches on Dells Pond about the missing boat barrier. Crews hope to reinstall the barrier by the 4th of July weekend.
