X Will Enable AI Bots to Create Community Notes

On July 1, 2025, X introduced a new feature that allows developers to build automated AI programs capable of generating Community Notes, which may be displayed on posts if they are deemed helpful by users with diverse viewpoints.
This follows X's effort to advance Community Notes by introducing AI Note Writers whose contributions humans assess for accuracy before publication.
