Wytrychowski storms to Rookie of the Week
The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) has named Kamloops Storm forward Nicklas Wytrychowski its Rookie of the Week for the period ending Jan. 18. The Airdrie, Alta., native recorded two goals and three points in a pair of Storm victories. In a 6–3 win over the 100 Mile House Wranglers, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward scored to give Kamloops a 2–1 lead, then added his first of two assists by setting up Noah Paulsen’s game-winner
