- Pritt appeared in United States Magistrate Court Monday, waiving preliminary and detention hearings; U.S. Attorney Moore Capito said the next step involves presenting the indictment to a federal grand jury.
- The West Virginia Republican Executive Committee will meet Saturday in Charleston to consider disavowing Pritt, while Secretary of State Kris Warner noted a state law enacted last year may prevent the Fayette County Republican Executive Committee from appointing a replacement nominee.
