Mário Zambujal was a Portuguese journalist, writer and commentator, born in Moura, in the district of Beja. He started his career in sports journalism, passing through editions such as The Bola, Diario de Lisboa and Record. He died this Friday, at the age of 90. Author of one of Portugal's most successful literary achievements in the '80s, Chronicle of the Bonds of Malandros, journalist and director of newspapers, proud encouraged him to die this Friday, at 90 years of age.
Journalist and writer, he was a versatile figure of Portuguese culture and author of several books such as “Crónica dos Bons Malandros”. He was co-ordinated in 2018 with the Order of the Child D. Henrique for his contribution to communication and literature.
The writer and journalist Mário Zambujal died today at the age of 90. Born in Moura, Beja, in 1936, he moved to Amareleja at the age of five.
