Reborn Ready Corporation Launches Comprehensive Transitional Housing Initiative in Macon to Combat Homelessness and Recidivism
The three-bedroom house will teach cooking, cleaning and bill management to help residents sustain tenancies, with volunteers leading the sessions.
The Wrexham Mindfulness Project launched a three-bedroom training house designed to help formerly homeless individuals build practical skills and confidence needed for independent living.
Mindfulness Project founder Richy Harries initiated the project after observing that receiving keys to a home can be overwhelming for vulnerable people transitioning from homelessness.
Megan Bayley Williams of MBW Lettings provided the property, with the Mindfulness Project stating they are "not just helping people into homes. We're helping them build a future."
The house functions as a practical learning space where Richy and volunteers teach essential life skills including property maintenance, cooking, and household bill management.
Safeguarding measures, insurance, and DBS checks are in place to ensure safe training delivery as participants develop confidence for successful independent living.
