BAKU, Azerbaijan (AP) — Two-time Olympic judo medalist Sarah-Léonie Cysique of France was transported to a hospital after landing on her head as a result of her opponent’s move during a semifinal bout at the world championships Tuesday. The incident took place just seconds into her bout against Japan’s Akari Omori in the 57-kilogram category.
