Youngest archer on Team Canada represents Cambridge, Ont., on the world stage
Armed with a bow, an arrow and a lot of determination, 18-year-old Janna Hawash from Cambridge is ready to compete at the World Archery Championships in Korea. This event is considered a launchpad to the 2028 Olympics in L.A. Hawash is the youngest of 10 archers that will represent Team Canada in Korea. She spoke to CBC K-W's Aastha Shetty about her medals so far — and her hopes for the future.

Gwangju (Korea) - Eight Czech archers, including defending gold medalist Marie Horáčková, will compete at the World Championships, which begin on Saturday in Gwangju. Ten medal sets will be up for grabs in Korea. The biggest favorites are the home competitors, who dominated all five competitions in recurve bow at last year's Olympic Games in Paris.
