Woodturning a Bowling Pin the Wrong Way

Woodturning usually involves spinng wood on its longer side to carve smooth curves. Woodworker Jack Mack broke the rules and put a bowling pin sideways on his lathe, standing it up instead of laying it down. The pin’s plastic coating got in the way more than anything else, but the end result is a cool piece of functional art.
