Women's Wrestling Debuts With Strong Showing at ESU Open
Competing in its first official event as a varsity program, the Lehigh women's wrestling team had 18 wrestlers in action at the East Stroudsburg Open Sunday at Koehler Fieldhouse. At the end of a 13-hour day of wrestling, the Mountain Hawks had seven athletes place in the top four of their respective weight classes. First-year Abbi Cooper captured the title at 117 to lead the Lehigh contingent.
