CAYCE, S.C. – Senior Ana Paula Martinez and sophomore Sophie Schwartz clinched a hard-fought doubles point to give the Bluejays all the momentum as the seventh-seed Creighton Women's Tennis team defeated 10th seeded Butler, 4-1, on Thursday morning in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament at the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center in Cayce, S.C.
