AYRSHIRE, SCOTLAND, JUL 24 – Charlotte Laffar leads by one stroke after shooting six-under-par 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys, ahead of five players tied at five-under-par in a strong field.
- On Thursday, July 24, England's Charlotte Laffar fired a six-under-par 66 to lead after 18 holes at Dundonald Links in Ayrshire, Scotland.
- Laffar returned to the Ladies European Tour in May after a four-year break, with her husband David caddying and sons Freddie and Oscar in Scotland.
- Laffar scored eight birdies and two bogeys in her round, recovering with a clutch putt at 17th, and dropped a shot at the 15th but showed resilience around the greens.
- A five-way tie for second sees Leona Maguire, Rio Takeda, Nuria Iturrioz, Lottie Woad and Arpichaya Yubol at five-under, and Maguire holed out from the first fairway for eagle.
