Women have come out to dance and male dancers have obstructed them, pushed them and tried to prevent them from dancing. At other times, musicians have been stopped and some of the audience have turned their backs on the female dancers. It's not Baztan, Hondarribia or Irun; in the Gaitan of Cervera del Río Alhama in the Rioja (Spain) women are also discriminated against and attacked for simply wanting to dance.
