A woman has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Croydon.
25 firefighters were called to the blaze at a 16th-floor studio flat on Saffron Square just before 6:30pm on Saturday. The 40-year-old woman, left before the fire service arrived, and was treated on scene by paramedics. There are no reports of any other injuries. It’s not yet known what caused the fire.
