A woman who was attacked by a man with a sword last month at a Buddhist monastery in Oklahoma City is on the road to recovery, officials with the monastery said.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A woman was injured in a shooting in Northwest Oklahoma City Monday morning, police say. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, a woman was shot while standing in a crowd near NW 10th St. and MacArthur Blvd. around 2 a.m. She was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials say it is unclear what led to the shooting. No one has been taken into custody at this time.
