Woman Severely Injured After Drift Diving in Tokashiki, Okinawa, After Coming Into Contact with Passenger Ship Propeller

Just after 11 a.m. on the 10th, the captain of a boat called 118, reporting that a woman had been injured by a passenger ship's propeller while drift diving about 400 meters offshore from Maejima Island in Tokashiki Village. The woman, a South Korean woman in her 40s, broke her femur and suffered cuts. She was taken to a hospital in the southern part of the main island and is not in any danger of dying.
