Woman Sentenced After Officer Attacked
A Port Huron woman, Paige Armstrong, was sentenced to at least 130 days in jail after resisting an officer during an October home dispute. Armstrong pleaded guilty to attempted assault, saying she didn’t know about a warrant and only “pushed” the officer. Her roommate, Julia Piper, allegedly released their dogs, which attacked the officer. One dog was shot and later euthanized.
